چکیده

Herein, Sargassum coreanum (marine algae)-mediated silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were successfully synthesized by a simple reduction method. The AgNPs characterized using ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, attenuated total reflection Fourier transformed infrared X-ray diffractometry, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) with energy-dispersive (EDX) and high-resolution transmission (HR-TEM) analysis. acquired colloidal strongly absorbed around 420 nm displayed brown color under visible light. XRD pattern of exposed their face-centered cubic geometry along crystalline nature. HRTEM images confirmed the mean particle size 19 distorted spherical shape, calculated interlayer distance (d-spacing value) was about 0.24 nm. Further, catalytic degradation methylene blue sodium borohydride monitored UV–vis spectroscopy. result revealed that performed as superior catalyst, which completely degraded MB in 20 min. rate constant for to be 0.106 min?1, demonstrating marine algae-mediated had outstanding activity. This approach is easy environmentally benign, can applied environmental-based applications such dye pollutant detoxification.

Laser-Induced Silver Nanoparticles on Titanium Oxide for Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue

Silver nanoparticles doped on titanium oxide (TiO(2)) were produced by laser-liquid interaction of silver nitrate (AgNO(3)) in isopropanol. Characteristics of Ag/TiO(2) (Ag doped TiO(2)) nanoparticles produced by the methods presented in this article were investigated by XRD, TEM, SEM, EDX, and UV-Vis. From the UV-Vis measurements, the absorption of visible light of the Ag/TiO(2) photocatalysts...
